Foot Reflexology

The feet are worked/massaged using the thumb; fingers and hands to stimulate certain areas of the feet, which are believed to correspond to different parts of the body to help promote health and well-being.  I have been trained to use the Duopody technique (which translates to mean DUO ‘two’ PODY ‘feet’) which works both feet at the same time.  This means that you can work a whole system at a time, as opposed to one half and then the other as per traditional Reflexology.

I can use a number of different methods to provide an individual treatment according to your needs/symptoms, including muscular/spinal techniques; CALM; Metamorphic; NEPIP (NeuroEndoPsychoImmunoPody) for stress and VRT (Vertical Reflex Technique) which is Reflexology whilst weight bearing.  Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD) , this technique focuses on lymphatic reflexes on the feet that aim to stimulate and cause an effect on the body's Lymphatic system.

Face Reflexology

The face (as well as the feet, hands and ears) is another micro (reflection of the whole) where Reflexology can be applied.  Facial Reflexology has the same benefits as foot Reflexology, but because it is closer to the central nervous system it is believed it can have a faster response.  It also has pleasant side effects for your skin by stimulating your circulation and giving your skin a healthy glow.

I have trained in:

Dien Chan Zone Facial Reflexology

This form of Facial Reflexology has been revised in Italy, but originated from Vietnam.  It is a popular and accepted method by the Vietnamese for healthcare and a part of their official system.  Multiple zones on the face relating to different body systems and parts are stimulated using a small tool according to the Receiver’s symptoms.  This technique enables the Receiver to continue working on themselves in-between treatments after being given instructions and a zone map.  A very effective, relaxing and often meditative treatment.

Bergman Method Facial Reflexology

This uses light touch and massage techniques, which is built on a combination of Native American techniques and Asian body maps, a deeply relaxing treatment.
